What is Food Safe fabric?

The FOOD SAFE logo means that the inner fabric has been tested and is suitable for safe transport and contact with food. 

All Iris food carrier bags have thermo-insulated fabric inside. This fabric protects the food in general and the cooked food that we want to transport from the ambient temperature and from contact with the sun and air. In this way, just as when using aluminium foil, the food is kept fresh and in good condition for a longer period of time. Premature oxidation is prevented and although it does not have a special thermal effect like a thermos flask, it does keep the cold or heat in better than a plastic bag or a textile bag without heat-insulating fabric. 

In most of the Iris Barcelona carrier bags, a foam is also placed to increase the insulating effect. In this type of bag, in addition, if we place some kind of cooler, we can make the cold last longer.
